Before Mod Top View
(0.25M)
Here's a top view of the shoes before I modified them. The leather was REALLy slippery. I'm not actually sure of the name of these shoes. On the polo website the closest shoe I could find was the brisbane. However, on the shoe box it says "Diana white/green leather" So apparently these shoes are actually called Diana. Slick. . Before Mod Instep View
The instep is almost exactly the same as lavers except for the tricky double overlapping leather. Oh and the shoes are women's size 10b (US). They end up being exactly the same size as my men's size 9 (us) lavers, but just a little bit narrower. I looked on ebay and apparently this shoe is their seasonal "tennis" shoe that they enjoy renaming all the time. The actual model number of my shoes is AAW13741.. and I got them at the Bay for $50 CAN. That's cheaper than getting better insoles for the lavers. :D. Photo by Rory.

Modified Insteps
(0.28M)
I also removed the leather off of the insides of the sneakers. It was tricky because 2 pieces of leather actually overlapped. Once removed though the fabric was not very sticky... so I didn't have to boil em or anything. ;). Photo by Rory.

Modified Outside/Back View
(0.28M)
I accidentally removed the leather from the outside of one of the shoes. Oops. These sneakers are essentially laver knock offs. Instead of "rod laver" on the back of the shoe there's actually a guy playing polo. POLO! :). Photo by Rory.
